THE PALE ONE was created in response to COVID-19 and the feelings of apocalypse we’re experiencing right now. The piece references The Book of Revelations in the Bible where the 4th seal is broken and the pale horse emerges with Death as its rider. These creatures have the power to kill off a quarter of the Earth’s population and that’s exactly what we’re experiencing right now. Throughout history white and pale bodies have been sharers of disease and virus making the piece timelier than it could ever be.
